The Old Rectory, Buckinghamshire

This is an on going project in a grade II listed Rectory built in 1840, in Buckinghamshire. The house has been looked after for many years, however not renovated or upgraded since the 1970s. Phase 1 has involved getting planning permission for renovation of the kitchen, creating openings and an extension off it showing off the views and working with the garden, which was also landscaped.  Permission was also granted to remodel an old hay loft, the oldest part of the house, in the future.

The kitchen is fully bespoke and designed to work with the house and for the family using
it along with a pantry. The extension we created was to be a ‘family room’ and includes
a bespoke open fire with a cast concrete ledge.  The exterior is clad in charred larch.
Other parts of the house were replanned making all the rooms added on throughout the years work together and flow. Over the next years we will be returning and working on more areas in this house.
